Nokia recently launched a software tool that will allow users to recover their bricked Nokia phones. This seems to be the same tool that is used by Nokia Care to address this type of issues, but the Finnish company made it available for consumers.

With Nokia Software Recovery Tool, phones that are not responding or stuck in a boot loop can be recovered.

Obviously, it’s recommended to make a backup of the phone’s data before using the software, but that usually is not possible if the handset is suddenly bricked.

Nokia Software Recovery Tool is now available for download via company’s support site, but is only compatible with Windows Phone 7 and newer.

Keep in mind that you will need a USB cable to connect the phone to the computer and minimum 4GB of storage space.
