It's been 35 years since the first Godfather movie was released and to celebrate this, Nokia seems to be set to release a special edition of its N73 multimedia computer dedicated to the movie. As a result of a partnership between the Finish mobile phone manufacturer and Paramount Pictures, users will soon get to see the Nokia N73 Godfather Edition. Packed in a spacial case, the handset will include a full length movie that is stored on a 256MB memory card and enable Godfather fans to enjoy the classic on their mobile phones.

The Nokia N73 'The Godfather' special edition will of course include the same features as the original. It will pack a media player with support for MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA audio file formats, a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus and Carl Zeiss optics, integrated stereo speakers for a high quality audio experience and a card slot supporting memory cards of up to 2GB.

Whether Nokia intended this or not, the N73 is a nice blend between digital and audio, attempting to suit the needs of both music enthusiasts and users that want a phone with a good camera. Other features include support for quad-band GSM, EDGE, 3G capabilities, web browsing, email client and the Symbian S60 3rd Edition OS that will allow the download and use of a large number of compatible application.

There is no information right now on the availability or price of this special edition mobile phone, but Godfather fans are very likely to find it in shops soon. With a nice set of features and the special edition stamp on it, it will be a good choice for both the movie's fans and mobile phone enthusiasts.
