Nokia E65 and Nokia E61i, two of the latest Nokia devices from the E-series mobile phones now run Intellisync Call Connect for Cisco. This is an important step for both Nokia and Cisco in providing business mobility solutions.

Nokia has managed to provide solutions as to converge mobile telephony with corporate telephony and Information Technology. "Nokia Eseries is the only business-grade device portfolio with a choice of products designed to optimize customers' ability to collaborate, communicate and operate in ways that fit their usage preferences", said Antti Vasara, senior vice president of Mobile Devices Unit, Enterprise Solutions at Nokia.

Half of business cellular use takes place inside buildings and almost the same number of business people use their mobile phone while away from their desk. For the time left, Nokia tries to provide mobile email, business voice and other corporate applications in order to give full time access to the information that these people need.

Wireless LAN makes it possible for Nokia Eseries devices to integrate in a fixed corporate telephony systems. This will reduce the price for features like least-cost routing. Furthermore, SIP and VoIP will make it possible to make business calls over the Internet anywhere just as long as there is a LAN wireless network available for connection.

"Nokia Eseries business devices are growing in popularity among business users, who now realize they needn't compromise on capabilities or style.", Antti Vasara further observes. Both Nokia E65 and Nokia R61i come with great email functionality and Internet browsing experiences at high performances. Moreover, these phone models offer evolved voice performances and advanced multimedia support for video capabilities and playing music. This combines business facilities with entertainment ones, making these phones reliable devices for any context.
