Nokia House Defaced by Indian Hacker

Nokia House (nokiahouse.com), a website that offers reviews, software, wallpapers, screensavers and themes for Nokia phones was hacked and defaced by a hacker called Ashell, a member of the Indishell crew, reports VoiceOfGreyHat.

“Finally …Hacker u Nokia House. It take good time to find your weakness. Btw, nice security, no one can shell it even bypassing 3 of ur cpanels, not even with server intrusion,” reads a message on the defaced page.

At the time of writing the website was fully restored and working at full capacity.

Indishell hackers are also responsible for taking down Dawn.com, a major Pakistani news site. At the time, a hacker named LuCkY defaced the website but also posted some information about their database, including names and access passwords.

Like in almost every cyberspace confrontation between India and Pakistan, political propaganda took the main stage.
