The date seems to be sooner than the actual release of the OS

With Microsoft's new operating system approaching steadily, Nokia is said to have decided on when and where a tablet loaded with it would appear.

There might be a misunderstanding between it and Microsoft though, or perhaps some inaccuracies in the report itself.

While, so far, it has been implied that Windows 8, the operating system itself, will debut in August next year, this newest word could mean that the date was moved up.

Either that, or someone got the dates wrong at some level of the Nokia-Microsoft collaboration.

"In June, 2012, we will have a tablet running Windows 8," said Paul Amsellem, the head of Nokia France, at a Nokia Lumia launch event, according to Lesechos.

Regardless of whether someone got the dates wrong or the OS really will come sooner, there is, at least, a clear confirmation that Nokia will have something to offer.
