May 14 is expected to prove a big day for Nokia Lumia

fans, as the Finnish mobile phone maker might unveil two high-end devices at a press event set for that day in London.

One of them is said to be the long rumored Nokia EOS smartphone.

No official confirmation on the matter has emerged so far, but a recent article on wpsuperfanboy claims that Nokia might indeed launch the Nokia EOS smartphone on that day, in addition to making the Nokia Lumia 925 / Lumia 928 official.

Furthermore, the news site claims that Nokia would have this device released on shelves sometime in June or July on AT&T’s network, and that it has signed an exclusivity deal with this wireless carrier.

Users on other carriers will have to wait three months for the smartphone to be available for them as well, following the initial launch, it seems.

Additionally, rumor has it that Nokia is preparing two flavors of the mobile phone for launch, each of them packing a different processor.

One version of the Windows Phone 8 device will arrive on shelves with a dual-core CPU inside, while the other is said to sport a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor.

Previous rumors on the device also suggested that it would be launched with a 41-megapixel PureView camera inside, the same as Nokia’s 808 PureView smartphone did last year.

The Optical Image Stabilization technology available inside Lumia 920 will also be present inside this device, along with an AMOLED screen capable of delivering a 1280 x 768 pixels resolution.

The specifications list of this device is also said to include a 2000mAh battery, along with a microHDMI port and a microSD card slot for storage expansion purposes.

For the time being, these are only rumored specs for the device, as no official confirmation on the matter has been provided as of now, so we’ll take them with a grain of salt. However, stay tuned for more info on the matter.
