Recently, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has been rumored to plan launching the upcoming Nokia EOS smartphone with a metallic case, and some more proof of that appears to have emerged online.

The handset’s outer shell can be seen in a new set of photos, which apparently confirm not only the metallic finish mentioned above, but also the design it was expected to feature.

The photo also shows that the handset appears to have already entered production, featuring the same button arrangement (volume, power, and camera) as on other Lumia devices, Engadget notes.

Rumor has it that the smartphone would sport the same hardware specs as Lumia 920, but a 41MP photo snapper on the back, which will fit the hole visible on the case.

Official confirmation on the mobile phone has yet to emerge, something that might happen in less than a month, on July 11.
