E71 and E66 might soon get a new brother, the E72

Nokia E71 and E66 are already confirmed by Nokia, after lots of leaked images and rumors about the new Eseries smartphones appeared since the beginning of the year. Although there hasn't been any official statement from the Finnish company about the two devices, both of them were seen on Nokia's website and in lots of live images.

Moreover, according to Reuters, the E71 and E66 are ready to be released by next week. Anssi Vanjoki, senior executive vice president of Nokia Markets, stated for Reuters: "We will in the third quarter bring to the market the N96 we have launched and a group of E-series multimedia computers that will be sure to have a strong stamp on where this market is going."

Notice that Mr. Vanjoki, besides mentioning the N96 Nsersies flagship, also speaks about a "group" of Eseries smarptones. Not just two of them, but a group. Which could mean there's at least another Eseries device in the making that will come after the E71 and E66.

Now, with two new smartphones from the Eseries family on the way, it's somehow natural to think that Nokia will not release another Eseries handset anytime soon. Well, if we're to believe infoSync World, Nokia might actually come with a brand new E72 smartphone. Of course, there are absolutely no details to confirm this, but neither to infirm it.

Anyway, whether or not it's named E72, the release of a new Eseries device except the E71 and E66 is not actually hard to believe. After all, Nokia has kept quiet about the two Nseries handsets, N85 and N79, that only today got to be unveiled, so it might have more surprises for us.

The rumored E72 aside, it's better that we wait to see if Nokia is indeed going to launch the E71 and E66 next week and then make suppositions about the future of the Eseries line-up.
