3.2 Megapixel camera with auto focus included

Nokia E71, the next Eseries phone to be released by Nokia, appeared again on the Web but, as in the case of previous leaks, there's nothing official yet about the handset. However, thanks to the newly surfaced images, we can now know for sure that the E71 packs a 3.2 Megapixel camera with auto focus, flash and, most probably, video recording too. This seems to be a very nice camera, especially if we think that the handset is not created to be a multimedia phone, but a business-oriented one.

Nokia E71 is said to be the successor of Nokia E61i, launched about a year ago and received very well by both business and "normal" mobile users. As the E61i, E71 comes with a full QWERTY keypad for easy text input, and a wide display, probably of around 2.8 inches.

The E71 appeared a few months ago on a leaked Vodafone roadmap, where it was mentioned as "Nokia Liam". Its features, if we're to believe that roadmap, include quad-band GSM connectivity as well as 3G / HSDPA, built-in GPS, Wi-Fi, secondary camera for video calls and expandable memory of up to 8GB. Moreover, E71 seems to measure only 10 millimeters in thickness, hence being one of the slimmest smartphones out there. Sure, all these details are not confirmed yet, but they can't be too far from the real ones.

Together with the new pics showing E71, an image with the back of E66 also appeared (or at least we think it's E66), another Eseries handset that should hit the market as "Nokia Dora". The E66 seems to pack a similar camera to the one on E71 (3.2 Megapixels, auto focus and flash), which is obviously a good thing.

Nothing else left to do now than to wait for official details from Nokia about the two Eseries smarpthones.
