The long-awaited all-in-one business smartphone Nokia E7 has just been greenlighted and will be arriving in stores in select markets this week.

As Nokia informs, E7 availability will quickly broaden with additional markets, but no specific dates and locations have been disclosed so far.

Nokia E7 is expected to carry a 4-inch ClearBlack AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 360 x 640 pixels resolution, complemented by scratch resistant Gorilla glass display.

In addition to the full QWERTY keyboard, the device supports business applications from the manufacturer's enterprise technology partners including Microsoft and IBM.

Touted as the 'ultimate business smartphone', Nokia E7 provides direct, secure and real-time access to email, calendar, contacts, tasks and the corporate directory through Microsoft Exchange servers, as well as Office Communicator Mobile, especially developed by Microsoft for Nokia smartphones.

Nokia E7 is powered by an ARM 11 680 MHz processor (3D Graphics HW accelerator) and runs on the Symbian^3 platform.

Other key features of the E7 include: GPRS and EDGE class 32, HSDPA 10.2 Mbps, HSUPA 2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, 16 GB of internal memory, 256 MB RAM, 1 GB ROM, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP support, USB with On-The-Go support, 3.5 mm audio jack and GPS with A-GPS support.

It also boasts an 8-megapixel camera with fixed focus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, face detection, as well as video recording capabilities (720p@25fps) and video stabilization.

Furthermore, the phone offers drive or walk navigation in 80 countries, as the latest commercial version of Ovi Maps, provides detailed information about subways, trams and trains, real-time traffic, safety alerts, as well as visibility to parking and petrol stations, speed limit warnings, and improved search and location sharing capabilities.

There's no official reference to any suggested retail price for the Nokia E7, but previously leaked information placed the device into the high-tier category with a price of about $750.
