Recently, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has started to ship to end users a new high-end smartphone, the Nokia E7, and the company has just announced the launch of a competition through which users can win a free Nokia E7 device.

The competition, called the Search for 7, will take place online, the leading handset vendor explains. Those who would like to win the smartphone would have to follow clues published on the company's website and try to decipher the virtual location.

Users who think they have got the right location should head to Ovi Maps, and then share the location in Ovi Maps via TWEET @WOMWorldNokia.

The first Nokia E7 could easily land in your hands, that's for sure. The winners will be announced via Twitter (@WOMWorldNokia) after 3pm GMT.

The competition starts today, February 21st, and will continue over the next 7 days. The smartphone will be hidden in a new city around the world each day.

“Want to be one of the first to own the new Nokia E7? Each day, over 7 days, an E7 will be hidden in a new city around the world. The 1st and 7th locations are virtual and you will need to use your wits and Ovi maps to find the hidden Nokia E7,” the company explains on its website.

“You can also keep an eye on our Nokia Facebook page each day to learn in which city the Search for 7 is taking place. We’ll be giving away one device each day from the 21st of February and ends the 28th of February,” Nokia continues.

Additional info on the competition can be found in the video embedded at the bottom of this article.

The Nokia E7 is a business-grade Symbian^3 smartphone that sports both a 4-inch touchscreen display and a sliding QWERTY keyboard. In addition to the usual range of hardware features packed with high-end smartphones, the device comes with tools and applications that would keep users productive while on the go.
