The Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has announced that its E63 handset is now available on the US market in two colors versions, Red Hot and Cool Blue. The device sports full QWERTY keyboard, comes with a big screen, and offers users different connectivity options, including text, instant messaging, email, as well as support for favorite social networks.

The Nokia E63 will be available in the US in New York City and Chicago at Nokia Flagship stores, as well as at independent retailers and e-tailers. The handset is stated to feature a price tag of $279, and is able to provide a wide range of multimedia features and corporate and personal email capabilities, as well as a unique home-screen switch mode meant to offer the balance between life and work. Other features include full web browsing, 3G connectivity, WiFi, a 2-megapixel camera, and a standard 3.5 mm audio jack.

“The Nokia E63 builds on the amazing response we have seen with the best-selling Nokia E71. People want a rich experience when using messaging, social networks and the Internet - and with the Nokia E63 you can enjoy the web, update your status, and work as much - or as little - as you like with multiple email accounts, including easy access to Mail for Exchange,” said Alessandro Lamanna, VP Retail, Nokia North Americas.

The Nokia E63 could prove a great gift for this year's Valentine's Day. The ruby red and aquamarine blue color options can make that special someone rejoice, while also offering the possibility to always stay connected.

The company also announced that the Nokia E63 came with a free 12-month subscription to Nokia's Files on Ovi service. Users who purchase it will be offered 1GB online storage for their content, while the files can be accessed either from the mobile device or from a PC or Mac that has an Internet connection. The files can be accessed whether they are on the remote home or office PCs or they are stored online with the “Anytime Files” feature.
