It looks like Nokia made an unexpected move and debuted its E6 Symbian Anna smartphone in the United States via Amazon.

Almost two weeks ago, we reported about the upcoming Nokia E6 and were surprised by very long shipping time frame, 1 to 2 months.

However, it appears that something has changed and the Finnish manufacturer decided to make the smartphone available much sooner.

Customers can now order the Nokia E6 from Amazon for $439, which is $7 cheaper than during pre-orders.

Nokia E6 is the second Symbian Anna device announced by Nokia this year and was unveiled in April along with the X7-00.

The latter is already available for purchase in both Europe and U.S. regions, and the E6 was expected to be launched soon after.

Although the E6 is the rightful successor of the E72 business smartphone, the phone is delivered with a small 2.46-inch touchscreen display, something that the E72 lacks.

However, the E6 follows the same line of the entire E series and comes with a full portrait QWERTY keyboard.

When it comes to hardware, Nokia E6 is far from impressive, as it is equipped with a single core 600 MHz ARM 11 processor and packs 8 GB of internal memory, 256 MB RAM, 1 GB ROM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Designed using premium materials such as glass and stainless steel, Nokia E6 comes in a compact size that makes it easy to use with either one hand or two.

In addition, Nokia E6 offers the best out-of-the-box Microsoft messaging experience on a business smartphone, including access to Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Communicator Mobile, and Microsoft SharePoint.

Symbian Anna offers an improved user experience with a host of usability enhancements, including improved text input, a faster internet browsing experience, and a refreshed Ovi Maps application.

Nokia E6 offers true enterprise grade security with hardware accelerated encryption for business users, as well as new e-mail features such as full meeting request support.
