The second Symbian Anna smartphone that will soon arrive in the United States, the Nokia E6 is now available for pre-orders from Amazon.

Unfortunately, the retailer states on the product's webpage that the Nokia E6 ships within 1 to 2 months, which is a very long time frame.

However, those who expected the E6 to be available across the Atlantic can pre-order the smartphone for $446 off-contract, which is a good price for one of Nokia's latest Symbian Anna devices.

The E6 is one of the first Nokia smartphones to feature Symbian Anna operating system, the company's latest try on the obsolete Symbian platform.

The phone was unveiled back in April, along with Nokia X7, which was already shipped in Europe and U.S. and is now available for purchase.

Although both phones share the same features, they have different targets, as the E6 comes with a small 2.46-inch touchscreen display and a full portrait QWERTY keyboard, while the X7 has a slightly larger 4-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen.

Nokia E6 is equipped with a single core 600 MHz ARM 11 processor and packs 8 GB storage, 256 MB RAM, 1 GB ROM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

Furthermore, Amazon recognizes the utility of the phone and describes it as:

A sleek business smartphone with a full QWERTY keypad and a high resolution touch display, the Nokia E6 unlocked mobile phone helps you stay productive and connected with business and personal e-mail and fast data connectivity that's compatible with both AT&T's and T-Mobile's 3G networks.”

Symbian Anna offers an improved user experience with a host of usability enhancements, including improved text input, a faster internet browsing experience, and a refreshed Ovi Maps application.

In addition, it offers true enterprise grade security with hardware accelerated encryption for business users, as well as new e-mail features such as full meeting request support.
