Nokia has just added one more mobile phone to their Eseries line of devices with the release of the E51 model. The handset targets especially business professionals who need reliable solutions for their work and personal needs too.

Some leaked images of Nokia E51 have appeared quite recently and it is surprising to see it receive an official announcement so soon. The handset uses Nokia Intellisync Call Connect for Cisco and Nokia Intellisync Call Connect for Alcatel for delivering desk phone calling features. The user can dial, hold, transfer and make conferences and also reduce their call charges by routing the call over the corporate IP networks.

Nokia E51 comes in some fairly slim sizes and is also equipped with a 2 megapixel camera. An FM radio and multimedia players take care of the entertainment aspect that is so important for many people. Nokia also packed some software solutions in this device for its users to enjoy. The producer has also included a browser for providing a bunch of Internet services, such as Hotmail, Messenger and Spaces. This will be available through the "Nokia Download!" application that brings a large amount of personal productivity and entertainment solutions.

"Business users increasingly need one device that they can count on to work productively and which offers them the level of efficiency that brings more freedom and balance to their personal lives", said Antti Vasara, senior vice president of Mobile Devices Unit, Enterprise Solutions, at Nokia. "With the new Nokia E51 device, we are responding to this need with a business smartphone that combines the latest advances in business mobility and a classic, stainless steel design, at a price that makes it perfect for company-wide deployments", he further added.

Nokia E51 will be available at global scale starting with the fourth quarter of 2007 for an unsubsidized retail price of approximately 350 EUR.
