Nokia E5 is now available for purchase in the United States via Dell for only $149.99. The handset was put on sale at this price tag in a promotion that would last until January 31st, and is available unlocked.

According to Dell, the Nokia E5 would have a market value of $239.99, but it can be purchased from it for only $204.99, that is $35 less.

Moreover, those who would like to have this new device in their hands would be able to use the coupon code “K140H5WFQ0GK30” after adding the item to their cart, and the cost would drop to $149.99.

The Nokia E5 might not be a top of the line smartphone, but it certainly seems pretty appealing at this price tag, one should agree, especially to those heavy texters out there.

“Discover more ways to stay connected with friends, family, business contacts and everyone important to you with the Nokia E5 Smartphone,” Dell notes on its website.

“It features push email solution which offers a robust desktop-like email experience right on your phone, with email, calendar and contacts. Plus, your work email shows up on your phone instantly, so you don’t have to wait for important emails.”

The specifications list of this handset includes a QWERTY keyboard on the front, complemented by a 2.36-inch display, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

The mobile phone also comes with support for IEEE 802.11 and Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, as well as for 3G networks. USB port and 3.5 mm headset jack are also present on the device.

Moreover, the Nokia E5 comes to the market with 256 MB of shared internal memory, and with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32 GB of additional storage space (a 2 GB card included into the mix).

The spec list of this device also includes A-GPS (with Nokia Maps 3.0), a 1200 mAh Lithium ion battery, and support for email, including Ovi Mail, Gmail, and Windows Live Hotmail, as well as for Yahoo, Google, ICQ and other IM clients.

“With all these features and more, get ready to turn your Nokia E5 into a tool for showing off, having fun and being creative,” Dell notes. The handset can be seen on Dell's website here. (via phoneArena)
