Nokia has been long rumored to plan the release of a LTE-enabled Windows Phone on the US market, and some new proof of that has just emerged.

Apparently, the company came up with a Windows Phone diagnostics app that was set to offer users the possibility to test AT&T’s LTE network too. The application makes reference to Band 4 and Band 17, both AT&T radios.

Moreover, the MMS settings tool for Nokia’s Windows Phones also shows CDMA capabilities, which shows that Verizon and Sprint might also get a taste of vendor’s new products soon, though nothing has been officially confirmed on this for the time being.

The one thing that is shaping up now is the fact that Nokia will release a LTE Windows Phone in the not too distant future. What remains to be seen is which carriers will receive it. Hopefully, CES will provide us with more details on the matter.
