Following the official announcement on the availability of the Nokia Amber update for Windows Phone 8 Lumia devices out there, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has also offered specifics on what the software will bring to various Lumia models.

The Nokia Lumia 928 smartphone currently available on Verizon’s network in the United States is among the first to receive the software, with some enhancements designed exclusively to it, it seems.

In addition to improvements to the camera, now capable of better low-light photos, and autofocus, the update also enables users to head over to the Windows Phone Store to download the Nokia Smart Camera and Nokia Pro Camera.

Furthermore, it delivers the Nokia Glance Screen to Lumia 928 owners, along with the flip to silence option, and Bluetooth, messaging, and other usability improvements.

On top of that, there’s the Data sense option, enabling users to easily monitor and control data usage, and to find hotspots near to them. More info on the update can be found on this page on Nokia’s support website.
