Almost every year at Nokia World, the Finnish company makes the most important launches that will directly affect its financial results for the next year.

Moreover, the company showcases some of its innovative technologies and prototype phones that might or might not be available on the market.

Unfortunately, the past doesn't speak positive for Nokia when it comes to prototype phones, as the company was unable to put even a single of its showcased demo units on the market.

Hopefully this will change starting this year, especially that the Finnish handset maker needs to impress users more than ever.

In this regard, the new “Nokia Kinetic Device” with flexible OLED display that is now demonstrated at Nokia World looks pretty impressive.

Developed by a Nokia team led by Tapani Jokinen, the Nokia's prototype unit is unlikely to come to market any time in the near future, but it's nice that Nokia still innovates (or not).
