One of the applications that owners of Windows Phone-based Lumia devices out there will soon be able to download and install on their handsets is the Nokia Creative Studio 6, an updated version of the popular software, set to make an appearance on Lumia 930 later this month.

The new version of the mobile app will arrive on devices with a completely redesigned user interface, as well as with a series of new features packed inside, capable of providing users with a better overall experience.

Following the update to Nokia Creative Studio 6, users will see that the app will present selected photos with various editing options available in a menu bar, and that they will no longer be taken to the filters menu when launching it.

Moreover, the software arrives with dual capture capabilities, allowing users to easily rotate, straighten and change the aspect ratio of their images, without losing quality. Moreover, it also comes with Reframing, a concept introduced in Pro Camera for the Lumia 1020.

Transforming images into professional looking photographs is also possible with the app, courtesy of ten high-quality filters, including Vivid, Warm Caress, Warm Horizon, Retro Fade, Retro Cool, B&W Fade, B&W Strong, B&W Antique, Pure, and Nightlife.

At the same time, there is an enhance module available for users interested in making photos brighter or in adding more color to them, allowing them to easily tweak brightness, shadows, clarity, vibrancy and color tone.

“Nokia Creative Studio 6 also provides non-destructive editing, meaning you can work and rework your image as many times as you like, until you’re left with your perfect photo,” a recent post on Nokia Conversations explains.

“This also means that you can always revert back to your original image. You also have the option to save your edited image as a copy into your camera roll.”

At the same time, the updated app release comes with better blur functionality, while also allowing users to add circular blur or a tilt-shift lens effect to parts of the image they want. Nokia Creative Studio 6 also allows them to remove the blur.

Basically, one will be able to easily add a filter, adjust brightness, add blur, and then change everything back to the way it was initially. Users will have the possibility to remove the blur even after saving the photo and after a few days have passed in the meantime.

Nokia Creative Studio will also receive a color-pop feature in the future, along with a Red-Eyes-Reduction tool. However, Nokia Creative Studio 6.0 that will arrive alongside Lumia 930 will not include these.
