An updated flavor of the Nokia Camera application is now available for download for the owners of Lumia smartphones out there, namely version 4.8.1.1.

The new release arrives on devices only several days after the Beta iteration of the application was updated to version 4.8.0.1, and it should provide users with a series of bug fixes and improvements, the official release notes unveil.

However, chances are that Nokia Camera now includes all of the latest enhancements that Nokia Camera Beta was pushed out with last week, such as better Inline Video Playback in Camera Roll, and improved Living Images Playback in Camera Roll.

Moreover, the update is expected to bring enhancements to Focus Indicator on devices with Continuous Autofocus, as well as other small fixes.

At the moment, Nokia Camera sports a higher version than the Beta release but, as WPCentral notes, chances are that the pre-release iteration will receive new updates in the not too distant future, so as to change that.

This also means that new features and capabilities might be included in Nokia Camera for Lumia devices very soon, so stay tuned to learn more on what these might be.

In the meantime, head over to the Windows Phone Store to download the new Nokia Camera release. The app is compatible with all Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1 Lumia handsets out there.
