Mobile phone carrier T-Mobile is expected to add to its offering in the not too far future a new smartphone coming from the Finnish handset giant Nokia, namely the Nokia C7, and it seems that the device might have already received the necessary FCC approvals.

The Nokia C7 user manual was spotted at FCC, and it offers a series of hints that point at an imminent release on the airwaves of T-Mobile in the United States.

For example, the smartphone should arrive on shelves with UMA service on board, which would be a clear indicator of the phone's arrival on Magenta.

Moreover, the handset's manual mentions a few times that users should contact T-Mobile in the event that they encounter various issues with some of the phone's features.

Considering the fact that a AWS 3G-capable flavor of the smartphone was already spotted at the Federal Communications Commission, it becomes increasingly clear that T-Mobile would be the wireless services provider to carry it in the US.

What remains to be seen is whether the Nokia C7 would sport a different name at Magenta or not, since some of the latest rumors on the matter suggested that the carrier might have it available for its customers as the Nokia Tiger.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the Nokia C7 was introduced in September last year with the Symbian^3 operating system on board.

It comes with a series of features similar to the Nokia N8, such as a 3.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display, HSDPA 10.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS support (Ovi Maps 3.0), and more.

The mobile phone also features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, a VGA one on the front, 8 GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32 GB of additional storage space, 680 MHz ARM 11 processor, and support for applications available for download via the Ovi Store.

No specific info on when would the new device arrive on shelves emerged for the time being, but, provided that rumors pan out, it should not be too long before T-Mobile makes a formal announcement on this.
