The Nokia C6, one of the latest mobile phone the Finnish handset vendor brought to the market during the ongoing year, it now available for purchase at Dell for only $259, and should remain so until September 3rd.

Those interested in getting the handset at the reduced price tag should be able to do so when using the coupon code GLJ8NTZBZP3XDN. Only US phone users can benefit from the deal, it seems.

The coupon is said to expire on September 3rd, so those willing to benefit from it should hurry to, especially since it would offer a $50 price cut (Nokia sells the device for $309 on its website).

The Nokia C6 is a quite appealing device, packing a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The handset also comes with a 5-megapixel photo snapper, 3G connectivity capabilities, built-in GPS receiver, the Symbian^1 OS on board, and more.

In addition to enjoying the said price cut at Dell, the Nokia C6 also got a new software recently, bringing its firmware up to 11.0.029.

This software solution seems to be a minor update, but it still comes with a nice range of enhancements and fixes, including some related to the device lock, or others aimed at special characters not being displayed correctly in opened mail.

According to a recent article on The Nokia Blog, the release notes for this update include: - Browser baseline updated, about 250 corrections - Widgets are leaking RAM, amount of memory leak decreased a lot - MPX Harvester stopped scanning when encounters File System corruption or other issues - Improvement to refreshing library in Music player - Securewidgetpreinstaller slows phone start - Boot up improved in production - Mail for Exchange: calendar sync improved - E-mail message gets scrambled by Email – forwarded or replied email are scrambled and full of foreign (mostly Chinese) characters - Big Clock not shown when device lock activated

Other changes might be there too, as no official changelog was provided by Nokia.
