Canadian mobile phone maker Bell is expected to add to its offering a new Nokia smartphone before the end of this month, namely the Nokia C6-01, and some more info on the release has emerged into the wild.

Apparently, the wireless services provider would have the new device available on shelves come March 30th, with a price tag of $279.95 attached to it.

According to a recent article on MobileSyrup, this is only one of the important aspects that users should take into consideration when it comes to the purchase of this device.

Apparently, the handset would arrive on the local market with a voucher included in the box, offering users the possibility to get 3 silicone covers (Black, Blue, Pink), as well as a backup battery charger.

However, the deal is time limited, the new site continues. Here's what an internal doc they received reportedly reads:

Between March 31 and May 31, 2011, while quantities last, Nokia is offering 3 free colour silicone covers and a stylish mobile power pack (back-up charging accessory) with every purchase of a Nokia C6-01.

These accessories (an approximate value of $100) are otherwise not available for purchase in Canada.

When made available for purchase, the Nokia C6-01 would become the first handset at Bell to include an 8-megapixel camera. The handset offers support for 720p HD video recording as well.

For those who might have not encountered the device before, we should note that it comes with a 3.2-inch nHD (640x360 pixels) AMOLED screen, WLAN IEEE802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm AV connector, and FM radio.

Moreover, the Nokia C6-01 features a BL-5CT 1050 mAh Li-Ion battery inside, measures 103.8 x 52.5 x 13.9 mm and weighs in at 131 grams.

The handset runs under the Symbian^3 for Nokia operating system, supports Flash Lite 4.0, Ovi Maps with free lifetime navigation, email, messaging, Internet browsing, and support for application available for download via the Ovi Store.
