Nokia C3, one of the handsets the Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia announced officially about a month ago, is set to make an appearance on the airwaves of Vodafone UK in the near future. The wireless carrier already listed the new device on its website in the coming soon section, stating that it will be put on sale in Hot Pink & Slate for its pay-as-you-go customers.

The new Nokia C3 comes to the market with a full QWERTY keypad, while boasting a wide range of messaging capabilities. The handset offers a wide range of ways in which users can stay connected at all times with their friends or family, regarding whether they prefer email, instant messaging, social networking sites, text messages or calling.

“Not everyone uses the same IM services. So the Nokia C3 has Multi IM. Login to one service, and chat to buddies on Yahoo! Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, Ovi Chat and more. Facebook, Twitter, Bebo and others are just a click away. And all your friends’ updates, tweets, pokes and more appear on your home screen – no need to login to each of your favourite sites. The Nokia C3 puts all texts between you and each of your friends into a conversation style layout – so you can see easily everything you’ve been chatting about,” Vodafone states.

At the same time, the new device can offer an improved web browsing experience, as it has been packed with the speedy Opera mini browser, and sports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz and 3G connectivity options. The specs list of the new device includes Bluetooth, 70MB of internal memory, a 2.4-inch screen, memory card slot for additional storage space, FM radio, support for Mobile TV, and more, all inside a device that measures 115 x 58 x 13.8mm, weighs in at 110g and packs a battery that can deliver up to 4.7 hours of talk time or up to 360 hours of standby time. The phone can be seen at Vodafone here.
