14 DAY TRIAL // Mobile phone users in the United States should soon be able to purchase new Nokia handsets on a prepaid basis in the country, the Nokia C3 and the Nokia Nuron, which should be put on sale with no contract agreements attached to them on AT&T and T-Mobile USA.
Both new mobile phones should land in the United States with pretty appealing price tags attached to them, a recent post on Nokia Conversations unveils.
The Nokia C3 was already brought to the market, and is said to be one of the popular handsets that Nokia launched lately.
The new phone comes with a QWERTY keyboard in a candybar form factor, and can be purchased in the United States from AT&T for $79.99 at Wal-Mart stores nationwide.
“The Nokia C3 also provides one-touch access to messaging, a built-in FM radio and media player and easy access to AT&T services such as weather and email,” the said post continues.
The handset comes with all the features that users are looking to find in a compact QWERTY device, being able to prove a great option for pre-paid customers out there.
The Nokia Nuron was already available for purchase on T-Mobile's airwaves, but only on contract until now. However, the carrier's prepaid customers should also have access to the new device soon.
The mobile phone sports all the needed connectivity options, including fast access to social networking sites.
“Like its Nokia brethren, Nuron comes with free walk and drive navigation with the increasingly popular Ovi Maps,” the said post on Nokia Conversations reads.
Priced at $129.99, the device would be available for purchase for T-Mobile's pre-paid customers through Target stores nationwide in the beginning, while expected to hit other T-Mobile authorized retailers too in the near future.
Both Nokia Nuron and Nokia C3 enable users access various Ovi services, while providing them with great content via the Ovi Store, Nokia's app portal that already enjoys over 2.3 million downloads per day.
