Nokia C3, one of the best selling Cseries handsets is now receiving a firmware update which will improve the phone's usability and performance. The new v07.20 firmware update for Nokia C3 can be installed over-the-air (OTA) from the phone's menu or by connecting the handset to a PC and using the Nokia Software Updater (NSU).

Before updating the Nokia C3 it is recommended that users backup all their data to make sure that no important files are lost during the installation.

As a side note, depending on the user's location, the firmware update may or may not be available, as it is possible to take a longer time until it becomes available.

The changelog of the v07.20 firmware update includes the following details:

- Improved Facebook functionality; - Updated country and region maps; - In-device user guide; - Performance Improvement.

The C3 strongly resembles one of the Eseries' smartphones and comes with a full QWERTY keyboard, as well as a 2.4-inches TFT display with 262k colors support and 320 x 240 pixels resolution.

It also sports a 2.0-megapixel camera (1600x1200 pixels) with video recording capabilities (QCIF@15fps), 3.5 mm audio jack and Stereo FM radio with RDS.

One of the main strong points of the device is the Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g connectivity, which cuts down data transfer costs.

The phone runs on S40 6th Edition interface with Flash Lite 3.0 and measures 115.5 x 58.1 x 13.6 mm.

Another useful feature is the microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 8 GB, 2 GB included), as well as the Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support.

The manufacturer rates the 1320 mAh Li-ion battery for up to 800 hours standby time or up to 7 hours talk time.

Thanks to its QWERTY keyboard, users will enjoy the social network integration (SNS Manager), that lets them keep connected with their friends and families even on the go.
