Nokia C3, one of the latest mobile phones launched on the market from the Espoo, Finland-based handset vendor Nokia, is now available for purchase over at Vodafone UK. Two flavors of the device are available for purchase from the wireless carrier, including the Nokia C3 Pink and the Nokia C3 Slate, both featuring a price tag of only £80.

When announced officially to the world, the Nokia C3 emerged as an entry-level device meant mainly for those interested in a handset that can keep them connected at all times with friends and family. The new mobile phone does include support for social networking sites, with updates that are offered straight to the homescreen, along with the possibility to have all IM in one place, including Google Talk and Yahoo! Messenger, or Windows Live Messenger and Ovi Chat.

“Tired of switching between IM services to chat with your mates? The Nokia C3 gives you Yahoo messenger, Google Talk, Ovi Chat and more in a clever thing called Multi IM. Log in once - then chat to everyone from a single place. […] Not everyone uses the same IM services. So the Nokia C3 has Multi IM. Login to one service, and chat to buddies on Yahoo! Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, Ovi Chat and more,” the wireless carrier states on its website.

When it comes to the specifications list of the new device, we can count a candybar form factor, a QWERTY keyboard on the front, a 2.4-inch display, a 2-megapixel photo snapper, 70MB of internal memory, complemented by a memory card slot for additional storage space, 3G connectivity options, support for GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 networks, Bluetooth capabilities, and more. The handset measures 115 x 58 x 13.8 mm and weighs in at 110g, while packing a battery that can offer up to 4.7 hours of talk time or up to 360 hours of standby time.
