Two affordable feature-phones are about to be launched by UK carrier Orange: Nokia C1-01 and C2-01. Both devices have been listed on the Coming Soon page and will most likely hit the shelves this month.

Announced back in June 2010, Nokia C1-01 is an entry-level handset with limited features. The candy bar measures 108 x 45 x 14 mm and weighs 79g (battery included).

Nokia C1-01 comes with a small 1.8-inches TFT display with 65k colors support and 128 x 160 pixels resolution. Even though it has been tagged as a low-end handset, the phone features a microSD card slot for memory expansion, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack.

Other key features of the C1-01 include: 10 MB of internal memory, 16 MB RAM, 64 MB ROM, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR support, microUSB port, VGA camera with camcorder (128x96@10fps), Stereo FM radio with RDS and FM recording.

Unlike the C1-01, Nokia C2-01 features UMTS network compatibility, as well as better display and camera. The handset has been dubbed by the manufacturer as the cheapest 3G mobile phone.

The candybar was announced in November 2010, but the Finnish manufacturer failed to release the phone on the market so far.

The handset measures 109.8 x 46.9 x 15.3 mm and weighs 89g (battery included), which puts it in the medium-sized bar phones category.

It has a 2-inch TFT display with 262k colors support and 240 x 320 pixels resolution.

Other highlights of the feature-phone include: 43 MB of internal memory, 64 MB RAM, 128 MB ROM, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 16GB), 3G connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP support, 3.2-megapixel camera with camcorder (QVGA@15fps), as well as Stereo FM radio with RDS.

Orange UK hasn't disclosed any details about the phones' prices, but they will only be available to Pay As You Go customers.
