Nokia has been expanding on more and more worldwide markets in order to strengthen its position as the leading telecommunications producer company. Latin America has just received a new line of phone models these days from the Finnish phone company.

Nokia has managed to maintain its leading position in the mobile phone sales especially due to the low-end handsets that have sold at a very fast pace. The reason for this is especially that this company has just entered new consumer markets where people are just having their first mobile phone experience. They are not looking for devices with advanced technology, but just those that can bring a solution to their needs for reliable communication.

For these reasons, Nokia has just launched several phone models that are meant to strengthen their position on the Latin American market. Entry-level 1200 and 1208 phone models will be the most accessible devices that the company has to offer. These will be joined by the 2660, 2505, 2630 and 2760 phone models. The price will be ranged somewhere between USD50 and USD120.

Nokia 2760 is the most evolved phone model from this line of phones, as it includes digital camera, Bluetooth connectivity, video recording, video playback and also an FM radio.

Some of the Nokia phone models have already started selling in Colombia and Venezuela. Moreover, in the initial shipping there was also included a built-in MP3 player, camera, T9 predictive input and T-flash memory. The price for this device is somewhat higher than that of the other phone models that have just been introduced on this market, as it goes up to USD170.

All other phone models that Nokia has announced to be launched in Latin America are scheduled to appear sometime in the second and in the third quarters of this year.
