14 DAY TRIAL // Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has added a new appealing feature to the Lumia handsets running under the Windows Phone 8 GDR2 update that have the Extras + Info app installed on them, namely call and SMS filters.
Users will be able to block numbers and contacts after installing the latest flavor of the mobile app, while also enjoying various performance enhancements and bug fixes.
According to WPCentral, the Call and SMS Filter option will appear in Extras + Info on devices that have the Nokia Amber update installed.
The feature is powered by new APIs included in Windows Phone 8 build 10327, which means that the Amber update is essential for it to work.
Users will be able to easily add numbers to the call blocking list, while also having the option to manage them afterwards, it seems. Extras + Info can be found on this page in the Windows Phone Store.
