Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is proud to present to the world not only some of the latest innovations it came up with in the mobile design area, but also projects that already became reality and which helped changing the mobile landscape.

Put on display as part of an exhibition at London’s Design Museum, Nokia's 20 years of Nokia design create an exciting experience.

After all, some of these devices have landed in the hands of millions, and new ones are expected to impress millions more.

One way or the other, the handset vendor's products managed to interact with our lives, and the said exhibition is meant to bring back to live some of these crucial products in Nokia's history.

“Nearly everyone has a relationship with Nokia,” explains Principal Designer Stephen White who has curated the show.

“There’s a strong fondness for the Nokia brand, whether it’s because your first phone was a Nokia, or for some other reason.”

The said exhibition was entitled ‘People Made – Nokia products that changed the world’ and brings to the spotlight handsets like the Nokia 1011, which was launched officially in 1992, or the Nokia 7110,the very first WAP phone in the world.

The first multi-media handset from the company is also present at the museum, the Nokia N95, along with the very first MeeGo smartphone from the company, the Nokia N9.

As stated above, the latest handsets from Nokia are also there, including the Nokia Lumia 800, the first Windows Phone device from the company.

“We’ve been making amazing mobile products at phenomenally high volume for 25 years,” Stephen White also says.

“What we want to talk about in this exhibit is that we do all of that on a massive scale while never forgetting the priority Nokia places on design.”
