Starting with the next week, mobile phone users in India should be able to purchase a new device from Nokia, none other than the dual-SIM Asha 502.

Nokia India has already started teasing the device on its Facebook page as coming soon, but it hasn’t provided specific info when it will be released as of now.

A recent article on gizbot, however, suggests that the smartphone will be released as soon as the next week, and that it might feature a price tag of around Rs. 6,889 ($111/€81).

Nokia has already announced a press event for India on December 16, where Lumia 1520 might be launched in India, and chances are that the Asha 502 will also be announced for this market.

Until an official confirmation on the matter emerges, however, we’ll take the info with a grain of salt. Keep an eye on this space for updates on the subject.
