Nokia Asha 200 and X2-02, both dual-SIM feature-phones, were officially introduced in India last month. However, the Finnish handset maker did not reveal the phones’ exact release dates at that time.

However, Nokia mentioned that Asha 200 would be priced at around Rs 4,760 (90 USD or 70 EUR) outright, while the X2-02’s price would be announced in due time.

Nokia fans living in India will be happy to know that Nokia Asha 200 is now available for purchase from leading retailers across the country.

Customers who want to purchase this dual-SIM feature-phone will only have to pay Rs 4,370 (83 USD or 65 EUR) via Flipkart. The handset is also available through Letsbuy, but it’s priced a bit higher at Rs 4,449 (85 USD or 66 EUR).

Nokia Asha 200 is one of the entry-level handsets announced by the Finnish company back in October during Nokia World 2011 event.

In fact, this is one of the less-featured phones in the Asha series, which comprises three other handsets, Asha 201, Asha 300 and Asha 303.

When it comes to design, the Asha 200 strongly resembles the Nokia C3, as well as a few other QWERTY phones released by Nokia in the past.

Nokia Asha 200 comes with a decent 2.4-inch standard display that supports 262k colors and 320 x 240 pixels resolution. There’s also a subpar 2-megapixel camera on the back, which can also record low-quality videos.

On the inside, the handset packs only 10MB of internal memory, 64MB of ROM and 32MB of RAM. It’s hard to believe, but Nokia claims that the Asha 200 supports 32GB memory cards.

GPRS and EDGE support are included as well, along with Bluetooth and high-speed microUSB. The phone is powered by a standard 1430 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 552 hours of standby time or up to 7 hours of talk time.
