There are even apps that are not available on other platforms

There are over 200,000 applications available in the Windows Phone Store at the moment, and both Nokia and Microsoft appear to be proud of that.

In fact, Nokia has already started touting this reality, a move that was somehow expected, especially after the company was bought by Microsoft.

In a new video ad published on YouTube, called "Nokia App Reality," Nokia Canada does exactly that: informs users that all of the applications they want on a mobile phone are available in the Windows Phone Store.

As the video notes, the Apple App Store and Google Play Store do have much more apps listed as available for their users, but many of these do exactly the same thing, and not all of them are essential for staying connected at all times and getting through the day seamlessly.

When it comes to apps that will do that, however, things change, as they have been published in the Windows Phone Store as well, Nokia claims.

Moreover, the company also notes that Microsoft’s platform can actually provide its users with software not available on other platforms, such as HERE Maps or Microsoft Office.

“The new app reality. Nokia #Lumia has all the apps you need in the Windows Phone Store,” the company notes in the video’s description.

Have a look at the clip to make a better idea of Nokia's vision on the matter. As WP7Connect notes, it might actually change your perspective on Windows Phone as well.
