The low-end phones will be available in the second quarter of this year

Nokia, one of the world leaders in communication, has introduced three new mobiles from its low-end class of handsets.

The new phones Nokia 2610, Nokia 1112 and Nokia 2310 have been launched at the Nokia Experience Mobility 2006 event in Chongqing, China.

The first from the series, Nokia 2610 has a candybar design and has been rubberized for an intensive grip. It seems that the handset will be available in two versions - GSM (850/1900) for the Americas and GSM (900/1800) for Europe and Asia. Its main features are 65k color display, WAP browser, E-mail support, Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, SMS/MMS/IM support, Voice recorder, Built-in speakerphone.

Nokia 1112 has a block, compact design and will also be available in two versions - GSM (850/1900) version for the Americas and GSM (900/1800) version for Europe and Asia. The phone features a 96 x 68 pixel monochrome display, 20-chord polyphonic and MP3-grade rintones, SMS and picture messaging support, speaking alarm and clock, built-in speakerphone.

Nokia 2310, also a compact-designed mobile, will be available only in GSM (900/1800) version, which means you won't find it in the US. Nevertheless, the handset features a 65k CSTN color display, FM radio with sound visualization graphics and dedicated key, Polyphonic and MP3-grade ringtones, SMS and picture messaging support.

All three low-end phones are expected to be available in the second quarter of this year.
