Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is getting ready for the release of new software for the owners of Windows Phone 8-based Lumia devices, namely the Nokia Amber update, and some more info on what it will deliver as part of the refresh has emerged online.

According to Blogjackphone.com, the Amber update will provide the owners of Nokia Lumia 720, Lumia 620, and Lumia 520 devices with Bluetooth 4.0 drivers, as well as with FM Radio support.

Furthermore, the upcoming firmware release will bring along improved camera capabilities on the Nokia Lumia 920, bringing the device closer to what Nokia Lumia 925 can deliver.

As WMPoweruser notes, the software should include a variety of other enhancements as well, such as better battery life and more. The Amber update is expected to start arriving on devices sometime in early August.
