Owners of Windows Phone 8-based Nokia Lumia smartphones will be able to enjoy an updated experience on their devices starting with August, a recent tweet from Nokia Spain claims.

The software, none other than the previously announced Nokia Amber update, is meant to provide users with new features and capabilities, similar to those that were announced for the Nokia Lumia 925.

As WMPoweruser notes, Amber will bring along OS enhancements that are part of the Windows Phone 8 GDR2 platform release, as well as various new features and improvements developed by Nokia themselves.

Among the changes expected in Amber, we can count FM Radio support, Datasense, an always-on Glance clock, and more.

For the time being, we can only hope that Nokia Spain provided accurate info on the update’s arrival, so stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
