It's been only a week since Nokia 8600 Luna was launched. Carphone Warehouse has declared this mobile phone model to be a success, as the entire stock has run out.

Carphone Warehouse has closed a deal for an exclusive six week release of the Nokia Luna phone model. After only a week, reports show that this handset has been selling extremely well.

"We have pushed it quite a lot with all the advertising at the front of the shop. It's built as a stylish phone and we have got it for free on Orange's Panther 45 tariff so it's not as expensive as the Sirocco, which is what the phone is similar to", said a salesperson from Carphone Warehouse.

Furthermore, most of Nokia 8600 Luna's customers were made of students and male people. The most attractive aspect of this mobile phone is the style that smoked glass cover adds to its appearance. Moreover, the smooth and well defined lines offer it a modern and elegant look.

Nokia Luna is a Series 40 phone with quaband GSM/EDGE and is the first of Nokia's mobile phones to support a micro-USB port. The phone also has a 2 megapixel camera included, so it's not all about the stainless steel and glass.

The reason for the Nokia Luna stock having been emptied in so little time is that Carphone Warehouse had a great number of pre-orders on this handset. This made it generate a great deal of interest coming from the customers and made the store immediately run out of Luna stock.

Nokia 8600 Luna comes for a price of 600 pounds and is currently available for sale only at Carphone Warehouse for a six week contract. The phone can also be bought without a subscription for an estimate cost of 1,200 pounds.
