We reported two weeks ago that Nokia 808 PureView will be available in India for around Rs 29,999 (560 USD or 435 EUR) outright. However, the Finnish company did not confirmed the no-term price of the smartphone at that time and said that's just a dummy price.

It appears that BuyThePrice retailer is among the first Indian authorized resellers to take pre-orders for the Nokia 808 PureView.

Unfortunately, the price is a bit higher than the previous price leaked two weeks ago, which might suggest that this won't be the final price either.

Customers can pre-order the Nokia 808 PureView for Rs 32,000 (580 USD or 460 EUR) outright via BuyThePrice. According to the retailer, the smartphone ships on May 30.

Moreover, it looks like only a limited number of units will be available for purchase, so those who wish to get PureView 808 should hurry.

Nokia 808 PureView is the first Symbian smartphone to be shipped with Nokia Belle FP1 out of the box. It's also world's first mobile phone to boast an impressive 41-megapixel camera.

Unveiled back in February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Nokia 808 PureView has been confirmed for Q2 2012.

The device is equipped with a 1.3 GHz single core ARM 11, 1GB of ROM, 512 MB of ROM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up 32GB via microSD card.

Nokia 808 PureView sports a vivid 4.0-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 360 x 640 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.

The phone is packed with various high-end technologies, such as Nokia ClearBlack, Dolby Digital Plus,Dolby headphone enhancement, USB on-the-go and active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic.

Last but not least, the PureView 808 is powered by a 1400 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is rated by the manufacturer for up to 465 hours of standby time (540 hours in 3G mode) or up to 11 hours of talk time (7 hours in 3G mode).
