New semi-official image leaked

It looks like Nokia will soon be releasing a new "Classic" phone, the 7310 Classic, which we first heard of not long ago (at the end of April, to be precise).

Although the Finnish company hasn't given us anything yet regarding the 7310 Classic, there's a picture with the new handset that recently appeared on the Web and we're almost sure it has been taken from the official set of images prepared by Nokia for the day when it will fully unveil the phone.

While back in April we had three images with the 7310 Classic, now we have only one, but it's the clearest of them all. The phone looks simple and pretty nice, although the new color version is not the best one that Nokia could have come up with. An all-silver or all-black edition of the phone would probably look really nice.

Among the features of Nokia 7310 (unconfirmed yet), we have: Symbian S40, quad or tri-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE (no 3G apparently), a 2.2 inch display with 16 million colors and QVGA resolution (240 x 320 pixels), Music player, a 3.5mm headset jack, FM radio, USB 2.0 and microSD slot for increasing the unknown yet internal memory. Also, in one of the previously leaked images, the back case of 7310 Classic shows a 3 Megapixel camera, which is obviously a good thing (although it doesn't seem to have flash and auto focus).

For the moment, we can't know for sure when Nokia intends to release the new 7310 Classic and for what retail price. Maybe the handset is part of the new line-up that Nokia and Orange will launch by the end of the year - we'll find out soon. Anyway, regardless of when the phone is launched, there are no reasons for its price to be a high one, so it seems we're going to have another good-featured but rather affordable Nokia phone.
