As we already announced a few days ago, Nokia 7310 Classic is one of the next handsets that the Finnish company will throw on the market, targeting users who need mid-end phones with a nice look and a reasonable price.

The new 7310 Classic was recently caught in live images, allowing us to form a better idea about how it looks. With a metallic keypad and a fashionable pattern all over its case, the phone looks quite stylish, being simple but elegant.

The known features of 7310 Classic include: a 2.0 inch TFT display with 16 million colors and 240 x 320 pixels, Symbian S40 OS, Music player, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, 40MB of built-in memory and microSD card for up to 4GB of extra storage space. There's also a 2 Megapixel camera - initially, a 3.2 Megapixel one was rumored, but it seems users will have to be happy with 1.2 MP less.

Although Nokia 7310 Classic is both slim and lightweight, measuring only 106.5 ? 45.4 ? 11.9 millimeters and weighing 80 grams, it's said to be packing a quite powerful battery, capable of providing up to 6 hours of talk-time and up to 260 hours of stand-by time.

There's still no word on the handset's release date, but we now know its price. The Chinese website PConline says that Nokia 7310 Classic will be available for 1,800 Chinese yuan, meaning only 260 USD (or 170 Euros). Sure, the price of a phone is usually lower in China than the one on other markets, but it's almost certain that, when the 7310 Classic becomes available outside China, it will have a retail price of no more than $300 or 200 Euros.

All in all, 7310 Classic seems to be a very nice S40 handset and it will probably be among the next best-sellers for Nokia. We're now waiting for its official release date to be announced.
