AT&T will include from now on the Nokia 6555 handset in their lineup. This device is one of the most elegant clamshells that the leading handset producer has to offer along with some basic but useful features.

Nokia 6555 has been recently approved by FCC, which
showed that it would take little time until actually hitting the market. The handset has a highly appealing design, with stylish lines and impressive smoothness. Aside from this, the clamshell also includes some easy access keys for AT&T's services.

The CV key brings for Nokia 6555 users all of AT&T's streaming video content service, which includes local weather forecasts, sports information, entertainment and broadcasts from leading cable news outlets. The dedicated AT&T Media Net key provides connection to Internet content, including financial news, sports scores and even movie times or the latest ringtones and mobile games.

"The Nokia 6555 represents a stylish and simple way for our customers to access and enjoy video, messaging, music and more", said Carlton Hill, vice president of Voice Products and Devices for AT&T's wireless unit. Moreover, "The unique smoothback design of the Nokia 6555 will appeal to the design-conscious consumer while the high speed 3G capability will satisfy the needs of those looking for powerful wireless technology", considers Ian Laing, vice president of Sales for Nokia.

AT&T will also provide its Mobile Music portfolio of services. This includes subscription services from Napster and eMusic, music videos, MusicID song recognition, "The Buzz" music news portal, XM Radio Mobile and more. That's a lot of variety to choose from in order to benefit from the best music services. In fact, the combination between Nokia 6555's performances and AT&T's offer is what powers this device as a great source for entertainment.

Nokia 6555 will be available in AT&T retail stores and online beginning September 12 for USD 50, after a USD 50 mail-in rebate and a two-year service agreement.
