Nokia 6275i Approved by FCC

Nokia 6275i CDMA handset has just been
approved by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

Nokia 6275i has a candybar phone look similar to Nokia 6236i and comes with a high-resolution QVGA display with 262K colors, and 320×240 resolution. The handset also features Bluetooth support and an integrated web browser for accessing WAP-based content. For games and applications, the phone is bundled with Java.

The 2 megapixel camera allows users to take JPEG images (up to 1600x1200 pixel resolution) as well as videos in 3GP format. Users will be able to add on a 2-GB microSD card to this mobile phone making it an ideal replacement for a digital music player. In addition, it also includes FM stereo receiver.

Nokia 6275i is expected to hit the US markets earlier than the mentioned Q4 2006 date.
