Nokia 6131, Clamshell Phone Presented at 3GSM

The 6131 is one of the new series of handsets presented by Nokia at the 3GSM convention in Barcelona.

The 6131 model is a clamshell phone targeted at the mid-range market, with an
internal 320 x 240 pixels TFT display capable of showing 16 million colors, accompanied by a 262k colors external display of 128x160 pixels. Next to it stands a 1.3 megapixels camera with 8x digital zoom. In terms of multimedia the phone includes a digital music player and FM stereo radio with support for Visual Radio. Additional features comprise Bluetooth, Infrared, e-mail capabilities (POP/IMAP/SMTP), memory expansion through microSD cards. The battery offers 240 hours of standby time and 3.4 hours of talk time.

Available in GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz, the Nokia 6131 will be released in European, Asian, African and Latin American markets in the second quarter of 2006, for a price of about $328.
