Nokia 5800 XpressMusic goes on sale on the UK market this Friday, January 23rd, and its launch is reported to be a big one. The event will be held at the Nokia Regent Street store, which will open earlier precisely for that. According to the news, the first 100 individuals that will buy a new Nokia 5800 XpressMusic from the store will also receive tickets to the Benicassim in Spain summer festival, along with a lot of exclusive content on their new handsets.

The next 100 people to buy the phone will also receive the exclusive content, although there will be no tickets for them. The content is reported to include films from FutureShorts.com, such as Crabs, I Met the Walrus, and Surprise, as well as several applications including Nokia SportsTracker, Touch Guitar, Touch Piano or the Guitar Rock Tour.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has made a lot of fans among users due to its capabilities as a music phone. As Nokia Vice President Jo Harlow said on one occasion, “When it comes to music phones, people all over the world want a device that is a great music experience and still works really well as a mobile phone, without sacrificing features. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic delivers on this and allows consumers to quickly and easily access and share the content that is most important to them with the people that are most important to them.”

Also on Friday, January 23rd, the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will become available for purchase at the Heathrow Terminal 5 flagship store as well as on the company's official website. As announced in previous news, the handset will sell for 249 GBP (280 Euros/ $350) contract free, about the same price tag it features in the company's 2 US flagship stores. If you're in for a big launch, head towards that store, for there will be a lot of other good stuff besides the free tickets, films and applications.
