Nokia 5700 XpressMusic will be available from now on in India too. The handset provides evolved solutions for high music performances. With this device, Nokia has managed to make a name for itself in the music phone area too, as it already reached this performance in other fields.

Nokia's entry-level handsets are selling extremely well in India, but recent releases have showed that more evolved devices have the same amount of chances of being successful. Nokia 5700 XpressMusic manages to bring, first of all, a high quality music rendering. Other performances of this handset are less important, although they prove to be quite evolved.

The handset comes with the support for a microSD card of up to 2GB. This means a great amount of additional memory space for storing songs for the mobile phone, as the internal one usually tends to be insufficient. Moreover, Nokia 5700 XpressMusic is capable of supporting a large number of media files, as to make it worth the title of "music phone". Among them, there are the most frequently used ones, such as WMA, MP3, AAC, eAAC+ and MP4.

Other specifications include a 2-megapixel camera and 3G connectivity. Moreover, the handset also supports Bluetooth 2.0 and USB connectivity. High data transfer rates are enabled by the EDGE and WCDMA technology.

"The Nokia 5700 XpressMusic adds a new twist to the mobile music experience with compatibility for tracks purchased from many Internet music stores. In addition, the 5700 XpressMusic features a dedicated audio chip for improved music performance which consumers can further enhance by selecting from an ever increasing line of compatible audio enhancements", said Devinder Kishore, director of marketing, Nokia India, on the release of the mobile phone.

Nokia 5700 XpressMusic will be available from now on in India too, for the estimated price of Rs 14,399.
