Nokia is enlarging its XpressMusic line-up of mobile phone with two new handsets: Nokia 5320 and Nokia 5220, both announced today and both being compatible with Nokia's Music Store.

Nokia 5320 comes in a classic candy-bar form factor and brings advanced music and Internet capabilities. The phone offers the new Say and Play feature which allows you to say the name of a song or of an artist in order to play the respective song, or songs from the mentioned artist. Furthermore, the new music handset features 3G (HSDPA) connectivity for fast data transfers, a full Internet browser for Web 2.0 access, dedicated XpressMusic keys, an audio chip for advanced sound quality, up to 24 hours of music playback, a 3.5mm audio jack, a 2.0 Megapixel camera with flash, HS-USB and microSD card support for up to 8GB. Nokia 5320 will be available starting the third quarter of 2008, for around 220 Euro ($350), before taxes and subsidies are applied.

Nokia 5220 comes with fewer features than 5320, and also with a rather weird case - the phone has a trapezoidal and at the same time asymmetrical shape, and I'm not sure this is actually a cool thing. Sure, the phone's design is indeed unique, as Nokia presents it, but "unique" doesn't always mean "good". Anyway, among the features of 5220 unveiled until now, we have: dedicated XpressMusic keys, a maximum music playback time of 24 hours, a 3.5mm audio jack and a "built-in lanyard" that allows users to easily carry the handset. Nokia 5220 should become commercially available in the third quarter of 2008 for a retail price of 160 Euro (about $255), before taxes and subsidies are applied.

Nokia didn't announce the dimensions of the new music phones, but they both seem slim and lightweight. "Our XpressMusic range of devices continues to deliver the combination of superior music experiences and fresh, innovative designs. Today's additions to the XpressMusic range up the ante with new ways for consumers to access their media as well as interact and share content with friends and communities anytime, anywhere," declared Jo Harlow, Vice President, LIVE category, Nokia.
