Being part of the major Nokia handset and service release that has been seen today, the Nokia 5310 and Nokia 5610 XpressMusic phones have been unveiled. Both devices bring some fresh products in the line of music phones that the Finnish producer is struggling to strengthen.

Nokia 5310 XpressMusic phone has an incredible 9.9 mm thickness and 71 grams, which makes it one of the thinnest devices out there. Considering the fact that previous Nokia music phones have come in some fairly bulky forms, this is a welcomed change and a highly appealing design. This handset is capable of providing up to 18 hours of music playback and a memory for up to 3,000 songs through an optional 4GB microSD card.

Other specifications also include a 2 megapixel camera, quite impressive, especially when considering the fact that the phone looks to impress mainly through its music rendering capabilities. The 2-inch VGA screen has up to 16 million colors, making playlists and captures display beautifully.

The other music phone that Nokia has unveiled today is Nokia 5610 XpressMusic. This slider has aluminum side panels that considerably add to the handset's good looks. This phone comes equipped with a 2.2 inch display screen and an incredible 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash.

Nokia 5610 XpressMusic uses 3G technology that makes downloads, web-browsing and video calls faster and easier than ever. This phone too comes with an optional 4GB microSD card capable of storing a large number of songs for hours and hours of entertainment.

Nokia 5310 XpressMusic will start shipping in the fourth quarter of 2007 with an estimated retail price of 225 euros before taxes and subsidies. The Nokia 5610 XpressMusic will reach the market just about at the same time, for the higher retail price of 300 euros before taxes and subsidies.
