Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia is getting ready to come to the market in the near future with yet another handset that will run under its S60 5th Edition operating system, the Nokia 5230. While nothing official on this device has emerged so far, a series of live pictures with it are now available over the web for your viewing pleasure.

The Nokia 5230 seems set to come to the market with a resistive touchscreen display, tactile feedback and the aforementioned S60 5th Edition. As one can easily see from the available pictures, the upcoming phone looks very much like the already available Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and its smaller brother Nokia 5530 music phone.

The touchscreen display present with the handset is reportedly a 3.2-inch one, and sports a 640 x 360 pixel resolution, and a 16:9 aspect ratio. The mobile phone's homescreen shows a Contacts Bar and media bar. The same as the 5530, the Nokia 5230 is said to feature a full-screen soft QWERTY keyboard, an alphanumeric keypad and handwrite recognition.

Other goodies will also come around with this device including a 2-megapixel photo snapper (although it might have a higher-quality one), Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, support for various WCDMA frequencies, as well as for Flash Lite 3.0 and MIDP Java 2.1 APIs. Other features are also present with the Nokia 5230, though additional details are missing at the moment.

According to dailymobile.se, which also brought to light the images with the phone, we should expect for the Nokia 5230 to come to the market sometime in January 2010.
